Mike Jimenez

Drums and Vocals

Mike grew up in Brooklyn NY. In the 1960’s, at just 17, he was drummer and lead singer for his band The Raves. As house band at the famous Café Wha in Greenwich Village NYC, he had the opportunity to play with some of the great musicians of our time, including Jimi Hendrix, Richie Havens, Bruce Springsteen and Jose Feliciano.

As a recording artist he was signed to Smash Records and had several releases. Mike is also an accomplished song writer. His music influences include the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, James Brown, and Temptations, to name a few.

Mike enjoys many genres of music including rock, R&B, blues and country. He loves to entertain and keep the crowd dancing.
